Amidst the growing concern over the current situation with the COVID-19/Coronavirus, we want to ensure all our employees and customers that our concern for their well-being is first and foremost.
As a company that provides essential services to our customers, we have had to make some difficult decisions to balance the care and consideration of our employees with continuing to be able to provide those essential services to customers including those most vulnerable.
The ever-changing landscape of the situation within the community has also added a layer of complexity to those decisions. We, as a company, understand the important services we provide as well as our responsibility to do our part in reducing the spread of the virus.
In order to best continue providing for our customers while protecting both them and our valued employees,
Effective immediately, we will be closing the main office to the public and will be posting a notice to that effect at the office. We will be reducing staffing to on-call and primary delivery requirements only.
In the event of an emergency, please call our office and you will be connected with personnel to assist you.
If your visit to the office was to make payment on your account, we encourage you to take advantage of our online payment options or call the office during regular business hours to make arrangements for credit card payments. Cheques only can be dropped into the mail slot.
We will be monitoring the situation daily and we will continue to make decisions to balance our responsibilities to our employees, our customers and our community and will provide updates at they become available.
